• The 3 Official Guides for GMAT Review

  On March 13, 2009, GMAC, the organization that administers the GMAT, released the 12th Edition of their Official Guide for GMAT Review. This book is one of three Official Guides, which contain real questions that have appeared on past official exams. As a bonus, the book contains examples of essay topics used in the Analytical Writing Assessment portion of the exam. The other two official guides, the verbal and quantitative books, contain unique questions not found in the 12th Edition. GMAC released the 2nd edition supplements August 17 and September 8th, respectively.

• Test Simulation Booklet & Stopwatch
  

  On the GMAT, you will not be allowed to use real paper as scratch. Instead, you will be handed a 5-sheet laminated booklet and dry erase marker as a scratch pad.   The Official Guides for GMAT Review, published by the organization that administers the GMAT, contain real GMAT problems that have been retired from the Official GMAT question pool. Each ManhattanGMAT Strategy Guide contains its own categorized list of problems from The Official Guides, organized by subtopic and difficulty level and designed to help you further refine and practice the skills learned in each content area. Our Test Simulation Booklet allows you to practice these problems using the same laminated scrap paper you will be given during the real exam.

• Read

  Read through each chapter in the guides and review what you learn with Manhattan GMAT's "In-Action" problems found in the back of each chapter.

• Test Your Knowledge

  You also can test your knowledge on Official Guide Problems. You will use the Official Guides to answer practice questions found in OG Problem Sets in the back of each Manhattan GMAT Strategy Guide. Be sure to time yourself on each question and use a stopwatch to limit yourself to just 2 minutes per question so you get used to the timing demands of the real GMAT.
