                        Andrew Yang

Mr. Yang was named Managing Director of Manhattan GMAT in 2006, and Chief Executive Officer in 2007.  Mr. Yang oversees all aspects of the business, including operations, marketing, publishing, and curriculum development.  Mr. Yang helped develop the original curriculum for the Company, the current version of which is now available at Barnes and Noble.  He was also the Company's first Instructor, having scored a 780 on the exam.  Since its founding in 2001, Manhattan GMAT has grown to become the largest GMAT-exclusive test prep Company in the country, and is currently the service provider to many Fortune 500 Companies, with classes in New York, San Francisco, Boston, Chicago, and Los Angeles. 


Prior to joining Manhattan GMAT, Mr. Yang served as Vice President of MMF Systems, a healthcare technology company based in New York.  Under Mr. Yang, MMF Systems’ client base grew from 0 to 25 facilities, and came to include such world-class healthcare institutions as Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, New York Weill Cornell Medical Center, and the Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital. 


Before MMF Systems, Andrew was Vice President of Business Development at Crisp Wireless, a mobile content management company in New York.  Crisp Wireless clients during Mr. Yang’s tenure included Sony Music and Nextel.  Mr. Yang also co-founded an Internet fund-raising company for celebrity-affiliated non-profits, where he worked with such clients as MTV Networks and Magic Johnson.  


Mr. Yang began his career as an Associate in Banking and Mergers and Acquisitions at the law firm Davis Polk and Wardwell.  Mr. Yang is a graduate of Columbia Law School, where he was an Editor of the Law Review, and co-founded and co-taught the seminar Asian Americans and the Law.  He holds an Economics degree from Brown University.
