What do ManhattanGMAT and the MOMA have in common? They are the two places Evyn can be found most frequently these days. Splitting her time between New York adventures and GMAT mayhem, Evyn loves her twisted tango dance of a life. For someone whose great loves are theater, poetry, film, and modern art… it might seem a bit strange that she ended up at a GMAT company. But believe it or not, ManhattanGMAT is the absolute perfect fit for all things Evyn. Allowing her to be one-part graphic designer, one-part corporate accounts associate, and one part event-planner, Evyn gets the chance to do things like plan cool parties for cool people and make fancy invitations for them. Amazing!

MGMAT also gives her a chance to mix her creative side with her high-powered business side, something she did frequently at Northwestern University in Chicago. In her junior year, Evyn was the Business Producer of The Dolphin Show—the largest student-produced musical in the country. An amazing mix of excel spreadsheets and showtunes, this experience was the ultimate melding of art and business. She also directed an extremely successful show her senior year, Steve Martin’s Picasso at the Lapin Agile, and looks back on it fondly as one the best experiences she’s ever had.

Hailing originally from Seattle, Evyn dearly misses all the greenery and grungy coffee houses of the Pacific Northwest—not to mention the stunning lakes and her mama’s spaghetti.

She still remains baffled that a trip home is equivalent to a transatlantic flight.

In addition to the MOMA, Evyn spends her spare time watching bad reality television, decorating her apartment, reading books she was assigned in college but never finished, and writing poetry. She recommends you read her favorite poem: “Bresson’s Movies” by Robert Creeley.
