Taniya Wilder
Associate Manager of Feedback & Operations |
Taniya joined the Manhattan GMAT team in the Summer of 2006. Since then, she has always looked for ways to help people in and around the office on a daily basis. At Manhattan GMAT, her job is to assess student needs. Her duties include managing all student quantitative & qualitative data across all companies (e.g. instructor evaluations, student feedback & private tutoring), analyzing quantitative and qualitative student feedback, developing quality assurance training sessions for part-time staff, working with the Center Director (Erica Busillo) to implement new customer service procedures, and coordinating handouts and syllabi for all non-center locations, college and corporate classes.
Taniya graduated from The College of Saint Rose at Albany, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a concentration in English. She now attends Fordham University, where she is pursuing an MS. In her leisure, Taniya can be found at the latest poetry slams, such as Nuyurican Fridays in the Lower East Side, or even just singing or humming while in the office (yes, she spends some of her leisure time in the office). Aside from performing poetry, she also enjoys writing, and is in the process of co-writing a series of children’s Science & Literature books with a friend. When she is not working at the Manhattan GMAT office, she can also be found hiding in the stacks of Barnes & Noble on 82nd & Broadway, where she catches up on the latest bestsellers. When asked if there was anything else that she wanted to do with her life, she stated: “I’ve always wanted to be an actress or a singer on Broadway!”
