Robert Wilburn

Robert Wilburn Director of Corporate Development for Europe

A native of Washington, D.C., Robert is a start-up guy at heart, having developed early-stage companies in Boston, Palo Alto, North Carolina, and London. This includes the classic Silicon Valley start-up, at which point he lived in the company’s offices (or rather, the company worked in his apartment - either way, you know you’re an entrepreneur when the centerpiece of your living room is a whiteboard!).

As Director of Corporate Development for Europe, Robert is helping to expand Manhattan GMAT’s services for European students. Robert has worked extensively with students from across the globe, from Europe to Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. Private tutoring students of his have gone on to attend leading American and European business schools, including: Harvard, Stanford, Columbia, INSEAD, LBS, and IMD.

Recognizing how busy most students are, Robert is particularly interested in developing tools to speed up the learning process. He enjoys teaching and helping people prepare for the great adventure that is business school!

Robert scored 760 on the GMAT and was a Sloan Fellow at London Business School. In his spare time, he likes to play soccer, bike, and travel.
