Mili Thomas Marketing & Student Services Associate

Born and partially raised in the teeming metropolis of Bombay, Mili Thomas is completely at home in New York City. After a misspent youth in a streetcar suburb of New Jersey, Mili moved to urban Baltimore where she studied Psychology and Public Health at Johns Hopkins University. Believing that corporate life was much like a box of chocolates, she proceeded to work at an assortment of Fortune 100 companies.

After many failed corporate taste tests, Mili gave up. She spent a few months frolicking in the foothills of Europe, fulfilling a childhood fantasy of recreating the finest moments in Bollywood film. Upon her return she realized that paychecks weren’t a luxury but a necessity. It was then that she came across a posting on Craigslist for a Part-time Operations Associate position at Manhattan GMAT. She leapt at the chance to sample a company that prepares the future leaders of the corporate world. During her time with the company she is pleased to report that MGMAT is just her flavor!

Mili was recently poached by the Marketing and Student Services department as a part-time associate. When she isn’t answering calls and responding to student e-mails, Mili attends classes at Teachers College, Columbia University in the hopes of completing her MA in Personality and Psychopathology. She is eager to transition into a Counseling PhD program so she can achieve her professional goal of providing an empathic ear for insured New Yorkers.

In her free time, Mili creates elaborate bar crawls and scavenger hunts for her friends, walks Luckey (her dog) in Central Park, watches escapist sitcoms on her DVR, and reads copious amounts of pulp fiction.
