At the tail end of 2007, Kira joined ManhattanGMAT, where she's happy to put her knack of always reading the fine print to good use as an HR Coordinator. In addition to translating insurance-ese into plain English, she oversees recruitment, and she’s always thinking of new places to hunt for that rare breed of personable genius: the ManhattanGMAT Instructor.

Kira is well prepared to handle bureaucratic forms and procedures, having worked for seven years in the telecom expense management industry at Control Point Solutions. There she learned that submitting a fifteen-page order form is useless unless you have the current update of said form, that it's possible to get a lot done while listening to hold music, and that patience may be a virtue, but sometimes a stern (but always courteous!) promise of escalation is the only way to get results.

In her spare time, Kira enjoys reading, writing, and roller derby. A proud member of the Garden State Roller Girls, she dishes up bruises and beatings for the Northern Nightmares under her nom de skate, Skarzipan.
