Erin Meads Student Services Associate

Erin comes from Salt Lake City, Utah where she greatly misses the snow-capped mountains and the powder skiing. After a one-of-a-kind 4th of July fireworks show over the Hudson River, however, she's feeling OK about the move.

Upon graduating from Brigham Young University in 2010 with a BFA in Illustration, Erin delved into the freelance world of graphic design, fine art, and illustration. She and her husband moved to New Jersey the summer of 2011, and she joined the Manhattan Prep team not long afterwards. She enjoys designing for us and helping people in Students Services.

While in Utah, Erin studied for two years under fine artist, William Whitaker, in a traditional atelier apprenticeship set up. Erin was also teaching assistant to the Professor of Illustration at BYU her sophomore and junior years, leaving her senior year to focus on her solo exhibition which displayed Spring 2010 in the Harris Fine Arts Center at BYU. She has enjoyed attending classes and workshops at various art academies and schools throughout the country. Currently, she studies at the Grand Central Academy of Art and the Art Students League of New York and is always looking for a show to enter or for a model to pose for her. Erin feels lucky to be so close to some of the best museums in the world.
