Dan Gonzalez graduated from Dartmouth College with a degree in Engineering and a hankering for warmer climes.  Naturally, he found his way to Cleveland.  After a stint in healthcare consulting, he moved back to the east coast to teach high school physics at Milton Academy, a Boston area preparatory school.  While at Milton, Dan began meeting with private students to help with standardized test preparation, math, physics, and Spanish studies.  Word-of-mouth referrals from satisfied students led to a full time tutoring schedule.  Over the past two years, Dan has amassed over 2,000 hours of test prep teaching and tutoring experience.

In addition to a 780 GMAT score and a diverse background in education, Dan brings an earnest commitment to his teaching at Manhattan GMAT.  Still, he has found the time to pursue a second career as a singer/songwriter. Dan released his first solo album after earning an advanced degree in Professional Music from Boston's Berklee College of Music in 2003.  With an acoustic guitar and a bag full of original songs, Dan performs regularly at coffeehouses and music clubs throughout the Northeast.  He'll be "discovered" any day now.

Dan Gonzalez currently lives in Cambridge, MA.
