Beretzi Garcia Executive Director of Operations

Hailing from the Bronx, Beretzi Garcia is Manhattan GMAT's Director of Operations.  Beretzi is responsible for all day-to-day Company operations, including the fulfillment of student requests, materials management, and overseeing the company's New York Center.  She is a recent graduate of SUNY Albany where she majored in Economics and minored in Business and Spanish.  After toughing it out for 4 years of extreme temperatures in Albany (it’s just so much colder up there!), Beretzi has returned to the city of her youth to pursue her career.

Beretzi has held internships at various companies, including Morgan Stanley, Smith Barney, and Fidelity Investments.  During her undergraduate years, Beretzi participated in and held executive positions on the boards of various student groups.

In her spare time, Beretzi is a competitive swimmer, and recently returned from Athens after medaling in nine events, putting the much-celebrated Michael Phelps to shame.  Among her many other talents, Beretzi has single-handedly memorized the entire Staples Office Product Guide in a mere 6 months.  In this feat she holds no Olympic record, just the high esteem of her fellow colleagues.
