Deanne DeCrescenzo
Marketing & Student Services Associate |
A 2007 graduate of Penn State University and The Schreyer Honors College, Deanne DeCrescenzo graduated with degrees in Marketing, French, and International Studies. When not busy studying or spending Saturdays tailgating and cheering with 110,000 of her best friends, Deanne could be found all around campus involved in various activities such as the Schreyer Honors College Student Council, Penn State Homecoming, and Penn State Dance MaraTHON.
Following graduation, Deanne worked in sales and marketing for a real estate development company. She left the company a few months shy of a year to prove to herself that suffering through all those years of French classes was worthwhile and she moved to France to teach English. After seven months of teaching French high school students, she is convinced that French teens care more about pop culture than she does and that going on strike should become a French national sport.
Once home, Deanne almost moved immediately to the "Grande Pomme" (Big Apple) and hasn’t looked back. She is currently working at Teachers College, Columbia University in the Office of Student Activities & Programs and is excited to enter the field of Student Affairs in Higher Education.
Never one to enjoy having too much free time, Deanne went searching for a second job and has found so much more in Manhattan GMAT. She is ecstatic about joining the team here as a Marketing & Student Services Associate and she hopes to help make all our students GMAT dreams come true!
Outside of work, Deanne’s most recent interests include refusing to play games with her family, digital scrapbooking, and parler-ing franglais. On Saturdays in the fall she can be found sporting blue & white in support of her Alma Mater and can’t wait to find a Penn State bar in NYC to watch the games!
