Katie Buongiorno Marketing & Student Services Associate

Katie Buongiorno joined the Manhattan GMAT Marketing Team summer 2006, hailing from the ranks of students at New York University. Through extensive research and preparation, Katie landed the summer job, which later on became so much more. 

Katie is a recent graduate of New York University with a degree in Sociology and Business. Upon graduation, Katie sadly parted from Manhattan GMAT to join Macy's Merchandising Group in their Executive Development Program. Her role as a Product Assistant, however, soon came to an halt, as she yearned for something more.  She has since returned to Manhattan GMAT as a full time Associate in February of 2009, allowing her to combine her love of helping people and desire for professional and creative growth.

Although she grew up in the beautiful countryside of Hunterdon County, New Jersey, this job further solidifies her love for the city. She enjoys going to the beach, spending time with friends and family, and soaking up the outdoors by golfing, fishing or just hanging out in the park. Eating, as is the case for many Manhattan GMAT employees, is one of her favorite things to do. A self-proclaimed gourmet, Katie loves trying new restaurants and cuisine.

When not in the office, Katie manages to spread word of Manhattan GMAT to all those who will listen, and even those that perhaps do not. She's thrilled to sign students up for classes and taking part in marketing projects to spread knowledge of Manhattan GMAT to organizations all over the world. What keeps her going are her passion and delight for the company and the employees, as well as a sincere interest in the content-based curriculum.

After working in large corporations, Katie is happy to represent a company that is both challenging and rewarding by giving her creative freedom while always increasing her knowledge of the business.
