Position Description

The Associate will support the Marketing & Student Services Department in various sales and marketing initiatives. Responsibilities include assisting the Team in developing narrowly targeted campaigns with partners; helping with the execution of marketing plans; and participating in event planning and promotion. Additionally, the Associate will interact directly with prospective and current students regarding ManhattanGMAT programs. The Associate will advise students, via phone, email, and event participation, as to their best course of action and how to maximize their ManhattanGMAT experience.

The Associate will gain hands-on experience in a rapidly expanding small Company environment as well as domain expertise concerning the GMAT, and will be given substantial responsibility and professional experience.

Qualifications

  • Degree or extensive coursework in marketing-related field and/or job experience with similar emphasis

  • History of job experience that highlights creativity, resourcefulness, initiative and an active interest in the overall scope of the company’s function

  • Excellent communications (oral and written), well-developed organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks within demanding deadlines

  • Availability and flexibility to work company operational hours, which includes weekday evenings and weekends

  • A desire to learn the strategies and tactics needed to succeed in the marketing field and online marketing industry

Compensation

This is an hourly, part-time position at ManhattanGMAT's corporate headquarters in New York City (Chelsea), and involves a competitive rate plus potential for performance bonuses as decided upon by senior management.

Employee must sign a non-compete contract, agreeing not to work for another GMAT prep or test prep company within two years of employment termination.
