Kellogg School of Management - Campus Life
The Donald P. Jacobs Center houses the Full-Time MBA Program and administrative offices. Student input was incorporated into the design of the building. Each classroom is state of the art design incorporating the latest audio/visual technology. Each seat contains electrical outlets for laptops and wireless access. Students are able to keep in touch with Wi-fi technology as it is located throughout the building. Other conveniences include: a sky lit atrium, student cafeteria, smaller cafes and coffee bars, Jacobs serves as the social center for life at Kellogg. The Owen L. Coon Forum hosts many student-led conferences and world-renowned speakers every year.
The James L. Allen Center is home to the Executive Education Program at Kellogg. Completely self contained the Allen Center serves as a classroom and study group facility with bedrooms and dining facilities for degree and non-degree seeking executives. The front desk is staffed 24 hours a day, and the Center offers services to allow students to focus on learning.
Wieboldt hall is composed of several buildings close to Chicago’s financial district. Students will find the School of Law, the Medical School, the McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University, the School of Continuing Studies and the Kellogg School's Part-Time MBA program. Students have access to the second floor Schaffner Library. Kellogg’s rich IT services allow students to conduct their coursework and studies online. Workshops are provided throughout the year to familiarize students with required technological applications that are utilized at the Kellogg School.
Approximately 30% of Kellogg students choose to live in the McManus Living-Learning Center. Many students believe that living in the apartment complex (only 3 blocks from the Jacobs Center) enhances a rich sense of community at Kellogg. Apartments come furnished or unfurnished with options for studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom for singles or families. McManus also houses computer labs, lounges, a workout room, game room and underground parking.
Students who choose to live elsewhere, often reside in Evanston, which offers a variety of apartment options from high-rise living to quaint Victorian-era houses. Evanston is linked to excellent transportation system of Chicago with buses, light rail and trains that conveniently and efficiently get students to where they need to go.
Culture
Kellogg has an active student population of approximately 1,300 full-time students and 1,100 part-time students. Since teamwork remains a signature cornerstone of life at Kellogg, developing the “whole” individual with activities inside and outside of the classroom, allow students to develop close ties with one another. Students actively take on leadership roles in activities outside of the classroom and are known for their community service work in the greater Chicago area.Kellogg boasts an alumni population of 50,000 worldwide. They continue their involvement with Kellogg by actively participating in 80 different clubs and 14 special interest organizations worldwide. Alumni also have opportunities to keep ties with the school through lifelong learning events.

Exploring Evanston and Chicago
Evanston is the first city along the North Shore of Chicago. Just 12 miles from downtown Chicago, 74,000 people live in this vibrant suburb. With its own business district that has a host of shops, restaurants, art galleries and movie theaters; Evanston also has numerous recreational facilities and parks, including 5 beaches on the shores of Lake Michigan, hiking and biking trails and an indoor ice rink. With Chicago only a short distance away, students can easily venture into this world-renowned city and experience a plethora of exciting activities, sights, history, events and sounds Chicago has to offer.
