Working as an Instructor for Manhattan GMAT
Before joining Manhattan GMAT, I taught high-school science for five years. I was initially attracted to teach for Manhattan GMAT by the superlative compensation, but I quickly discovered that the company had even more to offer. Deep respect for the art and the science of teaching permeates the culture here, leading us never to cut corners. Our instructors – the heart and soul of the company – truly enjoy teaching for Manhattan GMAT, and I love working with them and helping them succeed.

We Value Talented Instructors
Manhattan GMAT is designed to attract experts. We do NOT believe in a cookie-cutter "teacher-proof" curriculum. On the contrary, we provide our teachers with a highly structured curriculum which the instructor can use, modify, and enhance in any way he or she sees fit. Our goal is to maximize student achievement, and our belief is that the teacher is in the best position to know how to accomplish this. We provide the methods, but ultimately each instructor decides how to teach particular problems based on his or her own experience and beliefs about what is most effective.
Flexible Working Hours
We normally require that you work for us at least 3 hours per week. Beyond that, you set your own hours. We offer you live courses, online courses and private tutoring students, which you can accept or decline based on your own schedule. Instructors typically teach between 3 and 20 hours per week for Manhattan GMAT.
Professional Compensation
Teachers may not be in it for the money, but it certainly can’t hurt. Our $100-per-hour pay rate for teaching is the best in the industry. We also give additional end-of-year bonuses that grow with your tenure and other factors. Moreover, we offer well-paid curriculum development opportunities.
