Manhattan GMAT Instructor, Jeff Rogers
Jeff Rogers
San Francisco, CA

Jeff Rogers has a long-standing commitment to education. He’s been a student for as long as he can remember—most recently earning an MA and working towards a PhD in American history at UC Berkeley. He has been teaching for nearly a decade.

More than just a snappy dresser, Jeff is an engaging and dynamic presence in the classroom and was recognized by UC Berkeley as an Outstanding Graduate Student Instructor in 2010. He has also plied the teaching trade on the web, working for several years as an academic editor (for wonky social science articles) and a content developer and consultant for an award-winning educational website.

And lest you doubt Jeff’s ability to hold even the toughest crowd in seriously trying conditions, know this: working for Manhattan GMAT helps Jeff maintain a side gig as a shipboard history and sailing instructor for an education non-profit that runs swashbuckling youth programs on a historic sailboat in San Francisco Bay.

When not teaching, sailing, or teaching sailing, Jeff enjoys backpacking, cycling, and well-written histories.
