Seb Moosapoor
Los Angeles, California & Ann Arbor, Michigan |
After several years of law school and tax law, Seb decided to pursue a life-long dream of doing something unconventional and exciting. As professional soccer in Europe was not an option for a 33 year old smoker who stopped playing soccer at the age of 16, he decided on a PhD in Economics. He is currently “working” on his dissertation, which basically means he has plenty of free time to think about fun ways to teach GMAT problems. He is looking at completing his dissertation sometime before his 50th birthday.
Seb studied economics at UCLA from 1987 to 1991 and received his law degree from USC in 1994. He is currently a 6th year grad student at the University of Michigan, where he taught various courses in economics from 2003 to 2007. He now lives in Los Angeles, but frequently flies to Ann Arbor (go Wolverines) to make sure that the administrative staff at the Econ Dept. hasn’t taken his name off the door of his office. He scored a 770 on the GMAT.
