Doug Lindauer
Houston, Texas |
Doug Lindauer is a native southerner from the great state of Tennessee. Armed with a 780 on the GMAT and the goal of going to work for Enron, Doug moved his family to Texas so he could pursue his MBA at Texas A&M. Upon graduation in 2002, he did go into energy trading, but is very happy to report that he did not work for Enron (although he does now encourage students to never pay travel expenses out of pocket when going to interview with a company about to go bankrupt).
Doug has always enjoyed teaching and has a great deal of experience, having tutored students of all ages, from elementary school all the way up to graduate school. He has particularly fond memories of late nights spent explaining the dollar value LIFO retail inventory method to Intermediate Accounting students.
Doug and his wife Anna are happily married and have eight children, four homegrown and four adopted. This has definitely added a great deal of excitement and activity to their lives!
When Doug has free time, he's been known to put his trading skills to work playing fantasy football. He is also a part-time student pursuing a Master of Divinity degree.
Feedback From Doug’s Recent Students
“Doug was very good at explaining how to go about tough problems and dissecting it in a manner so that we could all understand the material.”
