David Braslow
David was born to teach; from the day in kindergarten when he taught his teachers how to use the Commodore 64 through his career as a high school math teacher, David has always had a passion for helping others learn how to do new things. His knack for asking questions helps make sure that his students understand while actively engaging them in the learning process. Having aced the GRE on his way to a PhD, David decided to help others achieve their dreams by teaching GMAT. With a 780 under his belt, he's ready to use his knowledge and skills to help his students meet their GMAT goals.
After starting college at 15, David went on to graduate from Brown with a BS in Applied Mathematics and a BA in Education Studies. He then received a Math for America Fellowship, receiving his master's degree in Math Education in 2008 and teaching math in high-needs high schools in New York City. Now finishing up his second master's degree in Education Policy, he looks forward to a career in education and helping governments make sure that public school teachers have the supports and structures they need to be highly successful.
When he's not drowning in teaching and education policy, David is a full-on nerd. An avid reader and gamer, David knows his way around a chess board as well as a Scrabble bag. He is also a bit of a hippie, cooking vegetarian meals, doing yoga and enjoying meditation.
