Jayson Beatty
A Seattle native, Jayson moved all over the world – Los Angeles, Austin, Atlanta, London – only to find himself back in the great city of Seattle, drinking coffee, listening to grunge and throwing the occasional salmon.
A graduate of Claremont McKenna College, Jayson studied economics and philosophy. Most of his pre-MBA professional career was somehow connected to real estate. Highlights include visiting practically every mall west of Salt Lake City (if you need to know the location of the nearest Cinnabon, he’s the guy to ask), crashing an off-road forklift and lots of “due diligence”, which is code for “really boring work”. After his MBA, awarded from the University of Cambridge, Jayson started a financial operations consulting firm. He helps clients both big and small figure out how to make the best decision.
Jayson scored a 750 on the GMAT (back when a 750 was a 99th percentile score, of course). As he is married, has two boys (Julian and Scout) and one Jack Russell Terrier (Kay) he has no spare time, but occasionally steals a bit here and there to make cheese.
Feedback From Jayson’s Recent Students
“Jayson knows his stuff, communicates it well, approachable and keeps it interesting very funny guy! He is very knowledgeable about the subject taught in class and enthusiastic about the GMAT.”
“Aside from knowing the material and presenting it well, Jayson is very personable and easy to get along with. I picked this course over a competitor partially because Jayson was the instructor. Always on time and always prepared. Jayson even sent email follow-ups to questions I had in class.”
