Organizational Materials

Guided Self-Study Course Syllabus (Download ): The heart of ManhattanGMAT's curriculum. This syllabus will be the general guide for your studies.

Preparation Overview
: Introductory test-taking tips and useful information about the mechanics of the exam.

Study Organizer (Excel)
: A more specific version of the syllabus that allows you to keep track of your progress on a question-by-question basis.

Official Guide Tracker (Excel)
: Track your answers to Official Guide Problems without looking in the back of the book.

The Complete Prep Set

All Eight ManhattanGMAT Strategy Guides: Each guide breaks down its particular content area into distinct topics and builds comprehensive content understanding by providing rules, strategies and in-depth examples. At the end of every chapter, you will find 15 challenging practice problems, progressively increasing in difficulty. Answers with comprehensive explanations follow each problem set.

All Three Official Guides (General, Quantitative, and Verbal)
: These Official Guides, published by GMAC, are the primary source of publicly released GMAT questions used on previous tests. Manhattan GMAT’s 8 Strategy Guides have been specifically designed and tailored to match the skills tested by the problems in The Official Guides.

Test Simulation Booklet & Marker
: Takes the surprise out of the scratch paper and marker you will be given on test day (no paper and pens are allowed in the testing center).

Private Phone Sessions (2 sessions, 1/2 hour each)

These phone sessions, or Office Hour sessions, are available to all Guided Self-Study Prep and Prep Plus students. During each of the two phone sessions, you will have the opportunity to ask the Instructor questions about GMAT problems that are giving you difficulty. Use these sessions to receive a helping hand for particularly difficult topics that you encounter during your studies.

Online Resources

ManhattanGMAT Computer Adaptive Practice Exams: In addition to your score breakdown, each exam comes with in-depth analysis of each question, including explanations, timing, approximate difficulty level, and topic, allowing you to assess your strengths and weaknesses.

Eight ManhattanGMAT Question Banks: Each question bank is designed to be used with its corresponding ManhattanGMAT Strategy Guide. Each bank consists of 25 extra practice questions not included in the guide, along with detailed explanations.

Online Labs: Each Course Session is accompanied by a 1-hour long multimedia lab that reviews specific techniques or strategies for the GMAT, including Timing Strategy, Speed Guessing, Data Sufficiency Rephrasing, Diagramming, and more.

Official Guide Stopwatch: Enter in the Official Guide Problems you wish to complete, and watch our Stopwatch generate a timed quiz to help practice for the GMAT in a higher-pressure environment.

GMAT Write Coupon: GMAT Write is a computer program, released by GMAC, that immediately grades your responses to two essay prompts and provides you with general feedback regarding your score. The algorithm used is the same as the one that grades your essays on the official GMAT, meaning the results are extremely accurate. Use our coupon to download a free version.

Challenge Problem Archive: Gain online access to more than 175 quantitative practice problems at the 700+ difficulty level. All questions include answers and comprehensive explanations.

Post-Exam Assessment

If you complete the course and are unsatisfied with your score, you are eligible to sign up for a post-exam assessment provided that you have completed at least 2 computer adaptive exams. This resource allows you to speak for 45 - 60 minutes with a ManhattanGMAT instructor specializing in structuring GMAT programs. Your computer adaptive tests will be analyzed and compared to your performance on the actual exam. By the end of the conversation, you will have a better idea of what subjects you need to focus on for your next exam.

Complete Set of Class Recordings

Click here to see how the platform works!
Recordings of a 9-Session Course over our Elluminate platform, taught by Dan Gonzalez and Emily Sledge, are available only to those who purchase the Guided Self-Study Prep Plus package. Unlike a standard video recording, our online platform consists of an easy-to-read interactive whiteboard, a chat window, and a VoIP module that allows students to ask questions and Instructors to lecture classes. While Guided Self-Study Prep Plus students are unable to ask live questions to these instructors, the recordings do a great job actually teaching the materials and presenting new information not found in our Strategy Guides.
