Overview
The Manhattan GMAT Guided Self-Study Preparation Program is designed for self-motivated individuals who would like full access to all of Manhattan GMAT’s curricular materials. It is also a good fit for students operating under a tight deadline who may not have the time to take a prep course. Armed with the resources listed below, you will plan and execute a complete GMAT preparation program at your own pace.

Organizational Materials
Guided Self-Study Course Syllabus : The heart of Manhattan GMAT's curriculum. This syllabus will be the general guide for your studies.Preparation Overview: Introductory test-taking tips and useful information about the mechanics of the exam.
Study Organizer (Excel): A more specific version of the syllabus that allows you to keep track of your progress on a question-by-question basis.
Online OG (Official Guide) Archer: Track your answers to Official Guide Problems, read explanations written by our instructors, and analyze your strengths and weaknesses with this powerful online tool.
The Complete Prep Set
All Eight Manhattan GMAT Strategy Guides: Each guide breaks down its particular content area into distinct topics and builds comprehensive content understanding by providing rules, strategies and in-depth examples. At the end of every chapter, you will find 15 challenging practice problems, progressively increasing in difficulty. Answers with comprehensive explanations follow each problem set.GMAT Roadmap: The GMAT Roadmap guide provides the definitive blueprint for you to follow as you get ready for the GMAT. Filled with time-tested wisdom and step-by-step guidance, this resource will help you map out your studies, stick to a game plan, and manage test anxiety for the official exam.
All Three Official Guides (General, Quantitative, and Verbal): These Official Guides, published by GMAC, are the primary source of publicly released GMAT questions used on previous tests. Manhattan GMAT’s 8 Strategy Guides have been specifically designed and tailored to match the skills tested by the problems in The Official Guides.
Test Simulation Booklet & Marker: Takes the surprise out of the scratch paper and marker you will be given on test day (no paper and pens are allowed in the testing center).
Foundations of GMAT Math Strategy Supplement: This strategy supplement provides a refresher of the basic math topics tested on the GMAT. It provides easy-to-follow explanations and step-by-step applications of fundamental concepts. With ten chapters and over 700 practice problems, this book is an invaluable resource.
Foundations of GMAT Verbal Strategy Supplement: The Foundations of GMAT Verbal Strategy Supplement provides a refresher of the basic verbal concepts tested on the GMAT. It’s an invaluable resource for students who want to cement their understanding of basic principles such as grammar, logic, and reading, while building core verbal skills for the GMAT.
Optional Extra Resource - Advanced GMAT Quant Strategy Supplement eBook available for free upon request: This book is designed for those seeking a 650+ score and already achieving at least a 70th percentile quant score on practice exams. It will teach you the strategies needed for tackling high-level quant questions. It combines intense practice with techniques for problem solving and data sufficiency questions, ranging from broad principles to tactics for narrowing down possible answers.
Private Phone Sessions (2 sessions, 1/2 hour each)
These phone sessions, or Office Hour sessions, are available to all Guided Self-Study Prep and Prep Plus students. During each of the two phone sessions, you will have the opportunity to ask the Instructor questions about GMAT problems that are giving you difficulty. Use these sessions to receive a helping hand for particularly difficult topics that you encounter during your studies.Online Resources
Manhattan GMAT Computer Adaptive Practice Exams: In addition to your score breakdown, each exam comes with in-depth analysis of each question, including explanations, timing, approximate difficulty level, and topic, allowing you to assess your strengths and weaknesses.OG (Official Guide) Archer: The OG Archer is an online interface for answering OG problems and measuring your performance. Time yourself on individual questions, mark the problems you guessed on, and note those you’d like to do again later. Then, view performance statistics and review answer explanations written by Manhattan GMAT Instructors (OG 12 quant questions only).
Eight Manhattan GMAT Question Banks: Each question bank is designed to be used with its corresponding Manhattan GMAT Strategy Guide. Each bank consists of 25 extra practice questions not included in the guide, along with detailed explanations.
Foundations of Math Homework Banks: Consists of over 400 extra practice questions and detailed explanations not included in the Foundations of GMAT Math Strategy Supplement. All questions test the variety of foundational math concepts and skills covered in the book.
Foundations of Verbal Practice Questions: These practice questions and drill sets test the variety of foundational verbal concepts and skills covered in the book, and come with detailed explanations. You may use our online timer to practice your pacing by setting time limits for each question in the bank.
Online Labs: Each Course Session is accompanied by a 1-hour long multimedia lab that reviews specific techniques or strategies for the GMAT, including Timing Strategy, Speed Guessing, Data Sufficiency Rephrasing, Diagramming, and more.
GMAT Write Coupon: GMAT Write is a computer program, released by GMAC, that immediately grades your responses to two essay prompts and provides you with general feedback regarding your score. The algorithm used is the same as the one that grades your essays on the official GMAT, meaning the results are extremely accurate. Use our coupon to download a free version.
Challenge Problem Archive: Gain online access to more than 175 quantitative practice problems at the 700+ difficulty level. All questions include answers and comprehensive explanations.
Post-Exam Assessment
If you complete the course and are unsatisfied with your score, you are eligible to sign up for a post-exam assessment provided that you have completed at least 2 computer adaptive exams. This resource allows you to speak for around 45 minutes with a Manhattan GMAT instructor specializing in structuring GMAT programs. Your computer adaptive tests will be analyzed and compared to your performance on the actual exam. By the end of the conversation, you will have a better idea of what subjects you need to focus on for your next exam.Complete Set of Class Recordings
