Steve Shaheen
Los Angeles, California |
Steve grew up in Northeast Philadelphia and after eating enough cheesesteaks to last him a few lifetimes, he decided to move to New York to pursue a career in finance. Continuing his trip up the East Coast, Steve moved to Boston and after successfully helping the Red Sox break the curse in 2004, Steve journeyed to where he always dreamed of living as a kid: California – the place which he calls home.
In addition to teaching the GMAT, Steve also has a second career. He is a classically trained thespian and has performed in several off-Broadway shows in New York City . His friends affectionately refer to him as a “slasher” (don’t go asking for a refund yet! that’s performer speak for: “actor” slash “writer” slash “producer”).
Steve is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with degrees in both Systems Engineering and Economics. Steve also has an MBA from the Harvard Business School (thanks to his 750 GMAT score, when that was a 99th percentile) where he graduated as a Baker Scholar (top 5% of the class).
To hard work, a little fun and a great GMAT score!
