Ron Pisaturo: GMAT Tutor in San Francisco
Ron Pisaturo
Los Angeles, California
Ron has a B.S. in Mathematics from MIT, with concentrations in management science and computer software. Instead of using his 99th-pecentile score on each part of the GMAT to go straight to business school, Ron decided to go straight into the business world. After three years of managing at Citicorp, Ron thought that he had learned enough about management to start his own business. That is when his management education began. After two years of planning, Ron opened his business: a private high school with high academic standards.

Ron eventually discovered that he enjoyed academics more than management. Also, having to hire teachers in the arts required him to explore the arts more deeply than he had, and he discovered that he loved the arts--especially the theatre--most of all. Ron now lives in Los Angeles, where he enjoys acting, writing, teaching, and studying amid the outdoor beauty of Southern California.

Ron has written on epistemology, the philosophy of mathematics, education, politics, and business. His articles have been published in The Intellectual Activist, Barron's, and numerous magazines and newspapers. He has been a frequent public speaker and radio and television interview guest. Two of his plays have been produced.

Having run a high school, Ron was drawn to Manhattan GMAT because of its focus on mastery of real content in math and English, instead of on a grab bag of test-taking tips and tricks.
