A graduate of Harvard Business School, Rachel has tutored dozens of students who aim for top-ten MBA programs. She’s the author of Manhattan GMAT’s “Quest for 750”, an advanced workshop devoted exclusively to learning the most challenging quantitative concepts, content, and problems on the GMAT.

Rachel began her teaching career as an undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania, where she tutored economics and calculus. She graduated with a 4.0, the highest GPA in her class of 800 students and a score of 770 on the GMAT . From there she joined McKinsey as a business analyst and then MTV as a strategist, while working as a GMAT instructor in addition to her full time positions. For a year prior to business school, Rachel worked exclusively as a GMAT teacher, gaining a wealth of experience and a remarkable mastery of the test’s content.

Rachel displays a strong passion for teaching, constantly developing new methods for explaining complex material. Her props and analogies always seem to energize and enlighten her students. During her years with Manhattan GMAT, she has created an impressive, distinctive teaching style.

As a GMAT instructor, Rachel’s motto is “leave no stone unturned”; she takes a remarkably comprehensive approach to test preparation. By setting high standards throughout the tutoring process, Rachel has helped many students achieve phenomenal GMAT scores.
