Andy Kamons
Andy Kamons is a native of Miami, Florida, though in recent years he has learned that you can find the same sun and humidity in Washington DC without having to deal with any frustrating sand, saltwater, or culture. A recent graduate of the international relations and economics Masters program at the School of Advanced International Studies of Johns Hopkins (whew…say that 5 times fast), Andy currently works at the Boston Consulting Group.
Prior to taking Washington by storm, Andy taught math to high school students in Morocco and worked for a financial consulting firm. The world of business retains its allure, and Andy parlayed a bit of his finance training into a consulting position with a start-up providing solar and wind energy solutions around the mid-Atlantic. He has also parlayed his good looks and street smarts into an 800 GMAT score.
Andy received his undergraduate degree in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University. In his spare time he likes to cook, play squash, watch pretentious movies, and listen to indy rock.
