Grace Trewartha
New York, New York |
After graduation, she moved to Minneapolis, MN, a place she remembers best for being "cold." She left Minneapolis in 2000 to attend Harvard Business School. There, she found her passion which turned out to be, unfortunately, a life of leisure.
The bearer of a 780 score on the GMAT exam, Grace is a veteran in the classroom. Students tend to go a bit overboard when praising her qualities: "Grace is very engaging, she is very familiar with the material and always well prepared. She's a smarty, but not condescending at all. She's very friendly and funny. So, she is basically a perfect human being." Students also commend Grace's knack for "integrating her personal experiences with the GMAT into the material" and her "ability to explain difficult concepts in a concise way."
When she's not in the classroom, Grace can be found working as the Pre-Business Advisor at Hunter College. She is also the Executive Director of Finance for Manhattan Prep, the parent company of Manhattan GMAT, and the CFO of the Trewartha family.
Grace enjoys real estate investing, vacationing in Door County, running, old black & white movies, dispensing advice, witty repartee and kicking back in Jackson Heights with her husband and their daughter.
Feedback From Grace's Recent Students
“I really liked that she was able to explain hard content in a very understandable way. She also was very realistic about the performance and expectations of the exam (i.e. you wont get everything right but that's normal and okay). She made me feel more confident about taking the exam.”
“Grace is very likeable and extremely clear, she is very knowledgeable and never blew off any questions students asked no matter how simple or complex they were; she also would explain why an answer was correct or incorrect. She was not high strung and she made the experience pleasant and bearable.”
