Carrol Chang
Carrol has been a part-time instructor with ManhattanGMAT since 2007 but has always loved teaching. She first began tutoring in high school and then taught English to Korean Chinese teens for over two years after graduating from Harvard in 2004. This explains her unnecessary mastery of some of the most obscure grammar rules in the English language. Bad for confused Chinese teens, good for prospective GMAT takers.
A New Yorker at heart, Carrol now lives in Evanston, where normalcy means dressing in costume, holding group meetings at 10pm, and going out at midnight on a Tuesday. She is a proud JD-MBA student at Kellogg and will graduate, with sadness, in 2013.
Feedback From Carrol’s Recent Students
“Carrol has the ability to explain difficult problems in a meaningful way so that students can apply those same methods to another problem. She also did a good job at creating a good class environment where it is okay to ask a question.”
“Carrol brings energy and excitement to the classroom, on topics that are being covered as well as the test itself. She is very approachable, and when the material was tricky she provided excellent examples as s supplement.”
