Geraldine Campbell
New York, New York

Geraldine comes to Manhattan GMAT with a wide range of experiences under her belt. A history major at Yale, Geraldine focused on Cold War politics and United States foreign policy. A true math nerd at heart, she also took classes like organic chemistry, differential equations and game theory just for the fun of it. After college, Geraldine went on to become an investment banker out in San Francisco, an operating room efficiency expert at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, a novelist-in-progress, and a high-school math teacher.

A couple years in the New York City public school system proved to be just about enough to convince Geraldine to take up a desk-job. Currently, when she’s not teaching the GMAT, she works as a staff writer for the Vault. By day, she profiles companies (ranging from Jet Blue to J.P. Morgan); by night, she imparts GMAT wisdom (in keeping with her aforementioned geeky-ness, Geraldine took the GMAT for kicks and scored a 770). In her spare time, she plays capoeira (a Brazlian martial art), runs, bikes, reads and plays Scrabble.
