Eric Cabellero: GMAT Tutor in Boston
Eric Caballero
Boston, Massachusetts
Eric Caballero is a native of Los Angeles who moved to Beantown after MIT’s Sloan School of Management made him an offer he couldn’t refuse. Since then, he has shoveled his car out of over 90 feet of snow and officially joined the Red Sox nation. Eric studied entrepreneurship and strategic management while at Sloan. There, he was humbly selected by the New Zealand government to be part of a small, swat team of experts to assist New Zealand entrepreneurs with developing international market penetration strategies. He also led dozens of his Sloan peers on employment “treks” across the U.S., seeking careers in environments ranging from the Silicon Valley to Hollywood.

Eric currently works as a consultant, improving the sales & marketing performance of his enterprise software clients. Prior to Sloan, Eric managed wireless communications projects with the Office of Naval Research and freelanced as a television script consultant to ABC and FX. Eric earned a B.S. and M.S. in electrical engineering from UCLA, researching the design of the next-generation internet.

Eric has over 4 years of university-level teaching and tutoring experience. He considers it the greatest privilege to help his students get accepted to their #1 choice B-school and he loves to do it with his 750 GMAT score (a 99th percentile at the time). His only pet peeve is people who settle for second best. “But if you’ve chosen Manhattan GMAT, that’s probably not your M.O.,” he reckons.
