New York, NY May 1, 2007 - Preparation for the GMAT just got a little more comprehensive at ManhattanGMAT, the world's largest GMAT-exclusive preparation provider. The New York-based company with locations in major US cities, known for its focus on teaching content, not just test-prep tricks and short cuts, released an eighth member of its highly acclaimed Strategy Guide Series.

The Strategy Guides are the heart of Manhattan GMAT curriculum, and are distributed to students in preparation programs and sold through the company's retail website, at Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, and Borders Books. Each guide breaks down its particular content area into distinct topics and builds comprehensive content understanding by providing rules, strategies and in-depth examples of how the GMAT tests a given topic and how you can respond accurately and quickly.

Of the eight guides, there are five math books: Number Properties; Fractions, Decimals, & Percents; Word Translations; Equations, Inequalities, & VIC’s; and Geometry. The three verbal guides are Sentence Correction, Critical Reasoning (new*), and Reading Comprehension (new*).

*Critical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension were grouped together previously but are now independent of one another; the new releases include more than double the content from the previous edition.

In addition to the introduction of the new Strategy Guide Series, the release marks the implementation of a number of other learning tools, which add value to the overall student experience at ManhattanGMAT. The Practice Test Assessment tool allows a student to create a summary analysis of his/her testing performance over a number of exams. The problem tracker enables students to time themselves while doing problem sets, and at the same time, helps them acclimate to the GMAT's unique testing platform.  Finally, the GMAT test simulation booklet, laminated and spiral bound, gives Manhattan GMAT students the chance to practice with the scrap paper device used on the official GMAT.

"As a company focused solely on this exam, we are able to devote attention to the GMAT's dynamics and to continually develop the most relevant and comprehensive material for our students," says Manhattan GMAT CEO, Andrew Yang. "While we believed that our material and programs were the best on the market already, we also know that our students deserve our attention to continual improvement. The material released today represents a significant enhancement in the student experience at Manhattan GMAT!"
