Position Overview

Manhattan GMAT seeks a motivated and energetic full-time professional to fulfill the role of Operations Associate. The Operations Associate will fulfill the roles of a Product Distribution Coordinator and Inventory Specialist at a small and growing enterprise.

Responsibilities

The Operations Associate will fulfill the roles of an Inventory Manager and Shipping Specialist at a small and growing enterprise. Duties include:
  • Managing production and distribution of student and trade materials.
  • Communicating with vendors and warehouses to streamline material production and distribution.
  • Managing inventory for our corporate headquarters, satellite locations and warehouses.
  • Coordinating the receipt and re-stocking of inventory.
  • Creating reports and presenting to management.
  • Assisting Event Coordinator and Center Director in maintaining appropriate supply levels.
  • Preparing shipments of materials for our classes and special events.
  • Handling multi-faceted Operations responsibilities, including customer service.
  • Administrative duties regarding Company management.
  • Performing additional general office tasks.
The position is in-house at our New York City corporate headquarters (25th St. in Manhattan) with the following work hours: Monday through Friday, 9:30 am to 6:30 pm.

Qualifications

  • College degree required.
  • High degree of organization.
  • Outgoing, friendly and energetic with strong interpersonal skills.

Compensation

$40,000 with strong potential for growth.
