The General Math folder has been closed permanently (as has the General Verbal folder). We're no longer going to answer questions from lots of different sources.
As I'm sure you've all noticed, it's been taking us a loooong time to answer all of the posts that students post. We've decided that we're going to limit ourselves to two sources from now on: GMATPrep and ManhattanGMAT. As a result, we hope that we'll be able to answer your questions much more quickly than we have been for the past six months or so.
We'll leave this folder up as read-only so that people can browse or search through old posts but, from now on, only GMATPrep and ManhattanGMAT problems can be posted (in their respective folders).

Sorry to ask, but why don't you just open it for students only interaction?

What do you do if you think there is an incorrect (or at least incomplete) answer given? Leaving those kind of answers up could be very misleading and/or detrimental to students. Especially if the answer came from an instructor.

Hi Jamie, It says I can't post in Forums Home » Ask An Instructor » GMAT Math » Official Guide Math Maybe that's because I'm not a student but rather just someone who found the site while using Google and who registered because I though I should point out that the answer was incorrect or at least incomplete or, just maybe, the question couldn't be answered the way it stood.

Well, I finally saw that it wasn't in the General Math section I was talking about and I read about the closure of the Official Guide Math section there(something about copyrights). I should be more observant. Sorry
