Hi there- There is no difference between those sets of practice exams. Purchasing a book will give you the same access that buying the CAT exams separately will. Best, Briehan Truesdell Student Services Associate 800-576-4628 studentservices@manhattangmat.comwww.manhattangmat.com

Hi, As a GMAT test prep company, we like to encourage our students to study in the best way possible. We feel this way includes learning the material as well as doing practice tests and practice questions. We therefore price our resources according to our philosophy. Because we feel that simply taking practice tests is not the best way to increase your score, we give extra materials to our students who are willing to use our strategy guides to study. Edited to Add: I don't think there is a problem with this.

Hi
We're definitely not trying to capitalize on ignorance. In fact, whenever a prospective student calls and wants to buy the tests, we actually do mention that they get the tests if they buy the books. Aside from our dedication to teaching people the material in a way that is most beneficial to them, our items are also priced appropriately once you take into account the shipping costs, which tend to make the tests and the book about equal.

The deal about buying one of the strategy guides seems good. I already have a Sentence correction strategy guide but the copyright reads 2003. If there is considerable change in the content of this guide then I would go ahead and buy this giude. Please suggest.
Also would I able to take the tests only after the book has been shipped to me or is it independent of the shipping time?

Hi,
Since 2003 our books have changed tremendously. In fact, we have had 2 new editions since then, so I would suggest that you purchase the newer guide. They also now reference the 12th edition of the Official Guide, so you'll be able to use more up-to-date problems as well.
If you purchase the guide directly through our website, you would have access to the tests immediately. If you purchase through another seller, like amazon, you would have to wait until you got the book.
