In would like to confirm if in the following sentence construction "Rajeev get an "A" in trigonometry" is correct OR it should be "Rajeev in getting an "A" in trigonometry" ..... Please provide reason for each of them

SENTENCE : Sandeep was told by his parents that if he helped his brother Rajeev get an “A” in trigonometry, he could go to the batting cage

you should use "get". just consider this one an idiom and memorize it. you help someone do something; you don't help someone in doing something..

Would it be wrong to say:

Sandeep was told by his parents that if he were to help his brother Rajeev get an “A” in trigonometry, he could go to the batting cage.

Since we have a conditional "if" sentence, we could use "if he were to help...". Is this not correct?

i would avoid this one. "if he were" could project into the future relative to the speaker, which doesn't appear to be the intent of the sentence. however, this construction could be correct depending on the larger context..
