I'm having the exact same problem! My math used to usually be around 75-90% (I've taken a total of 8 CATS), now it's around 60% (past 2)... on the other hand my verbal has gone from about 50% to 90%.
One thing I think is that I'm stressed and making a few basic mistakes by misreading things/miscalculating things (however, this isn't accounting for all of my errors). I've made a couple mistakes doing basic math, say I get 43 and 40, i might write down 93 by accident. This is partly a result of my timing, I've noticed that as I got better, my timing got worse, because I'd be working on harder problems for longer. So, take this as a sort-of answer, as I haven't found a solution. I guess the best thing to do will be to try to relax somehow, I'm having trouble doing this myself. Luckily I have until Saturday. Additionally, I think a bit of this is that I'm thinking too much about the procedure rather than the result; I'm pretty good at solving things unconventionally, whereas I think now I'm trying to remember what I've read too much - remember it's all about the answers! If you need to FORGET WHAT YOU'VE LEARNED - just think how you will get an answer. Finally, don't do anything today except go over some basic things you need memorized (for me, Friday I'm just going to have a sheet with basic things like special triangle ratios, common triangle sides, common squares, etc.).
anyone else's input would be appreciated
