Source: IMS GMAT

A certain right triangle has sides of length x, y, and z, where x < y < z. If the area of this triangular region is 1, which of the following indicates all of the possible values of y ?
A. y > 2
B. 23 < y < 2
C. 32 < y < 23
D. 43 < y < 32
E. y < 43

Shib, it is really important that you provide specific citations for your questions so we don't address certain sources for which we don't have permission. If at all possible, please include the problem number, text or website, and/or practice test.

With this particular problem, I don't understand answer choices B, C, and D. Y cannot be greater than 23 but less than 2 (B), greater than 32 but less than 23 (C), or greater than 43 but less than 32. Perhaps your inequalities are written incorrectly?
