Timing RC questions using OG archer

Does OG archer record passage reading time separately from question answering time? Otherwise the benchmarking and payoff wouldn't work as the first question will always include the reading time.

No, there is no mechanism for identifying how much time you spend reading the passage independently of answering the first question. There are some things the system cannot do no matter how much effort we put in.. :)
