Can anybody offer any info on how they studied following the class up to when they took their exam?

I am in week 7 and have done everything that is assigned in the syllabus and haven't really deviated from the syllabus at all. I plan on continuing to follow the syllabus and exactly what it assigns until the course is over (unless discouraged by responses here). That said, there is and will be quite a bit of material left in the OG and the verbal and quant review books to cover.

I know the syllabus recommends just going over weak areas, but does anybody have any words of advice for how to structure the post class self-study? Feel free to be as detailed as possible.

Make sure you take your practice tests as assigned on the syllabus. Then you can request a Post-Course Assessment from your teacher at the end of the class. The teacher will go over your practice test results and tell you what s/he thinks you should do between then and the real test.

Note that the teacher is not going to give you a day-by-day plan, but s/he will tell you "Here are the major issues that you need to resolve." You'll have to then set up individual study sessions to address each of those things.

Also, probably you already know this, but of course if you fell behind during the class and didn't finish any of the homework, then that's at the top of your to-do list after the class ends. :)

Depending on your situation, you may study for a while and then take another practice test. At that point, you'll have to do the analysis yourself because you'll have new data; you can use this article to help you with that:

And then you'll set up new study sessions based upon what you find from that new test.
