Hi all
OG PS 109:
the MGMAT Archer book says to solve it by doing
(NEW - ORIGINAL)/ORIGINAL
but I solved it by doing (ORIGINAL - NEW)/ORIGINAL
does it really matter which way it is done, as long as you know whether it is an increase or decrease (and thus assign a +/- to the answer accordingly)?
aren't you just looking to find the % the amount of change (increase or decrease) is of the original amount?
thanks

yes, as long as you remember to point the sign in the right direction and you keep the original on the bottom, you should be fine on these questions..
