Hello Aspirant,
Most people take the GMAT in order to get into an MBA program. If you already have the MBA degree, you are ahead of most people that use ManhattanGMAT. For a U.S. Ph.D. program, they generally accept the GRE (though many also accept the GMAT). It is impossible to know what score you'd need for different programs, as one would need to know about the particular program and your background. However, most programs would want scores in the upper quartile (top 25% or so). We don't have programs expressly in India, though one of our Instructors just moved to Bangalore to work at a think-tank. Most Indian students either utilize our online resources or, in some cases, take our live online course. You can attend the 1st session of an online course free of charge. Just check out the website, under Programs/Free Events. I hope that the above is helpful! Regards, - Andrew |

why is there a marked price diff.. between the sentence correction books sold in Manhattan store and that in Amazon - looks like what Amazon sells is also brand new.
would buying from amazon mean - we may not have access to the online tests ? |

Just to confirm-
Yes, there is no difference between a NEW MGMAT Strategy Guide purchased from Manhattan GMAT's website and one purchased at Amazon or Barnes and Noble. Big retail stores offer discounts on their own - we do not set prices together. But the key here is that it's a new book. If you buy from one of Amazon's resellers or if you buy the book used from any other source, you may end up with an online access key (a serial code in the back of the book) that has already been used. Happy studying, Kim Watkins Manhattan GMAT |
