Solution of the following problem

How can we solve following problem?
(((-2)^-1) + (-3 - (1/20))) = ?

(((-2)^-1) + (-3 - (1/20))) = ?

Well lets solve the problem bracket by bracket...term by term:

(-2) ^ -1 = - (1/2) ---> Term 1

(-3 - (1/20)) = ((-60/20) - 1/20) = -61/20 ---> Term 2

Altogether we get:

-1/2 + (-61/20) = (-40/20) - (61/20) = -101/20

Therefore, your answer is -101/20.
Pretty sure 101 is a prime number so the above fraction cannot be simplified further.

Dears,

the answer is -(71/20) not - (101/20), since -(1/2)=-(10/20)
