Saurabh,
The Quest for 750 Workshops reflect the experiences of various ManhattanGMAT Instructors to reflect certain skills that the GMAT tests at the upper levels. Unfortunately, it is VERY difficult to distill issues and principles that test-takers in the 700+ range will be tested on. As a result, each Quest for 750 workshop only applies to a very narrow subset of questions. (e.g. 1 - 3 questions each). The Sentence Correction Workshop essentially diagrams difficult Sentence Correction examples into the Sentence Core (Subject - Verb - Object) and the Modifier Tree (everything modifying any element of the Sentence Core). Breaking down the sentences in this way leads one to be able to more easily identify issues within a sentence. For the most part, actually diagramming a sentence in this way would be too time-consuming to actually perform on the test. However, the perspective gained by being able to do so generally helps students to 'see' the relevant grammatical issue on several Sentence Correction questions. The Advanced Data Sufficiency Workshop examines 3 common 'traps' on hard Data Sufficiency questions - Failing the Computation (i.e. not actually doing the work that is asked for, as the computation can yield a surprising result), Missing the Constraint (i.e. the Question Stem has a restriction on the possibilities), and Equation Evasion (i.e. not translating word problem data sufficiency problems into an appropriate equation). Again, one will not see each of these on every GMAT test, and may not see any. The Advanced Quantitative Workshop examines 3 common skills required of test-takers at higher levels - Finding the Pattern (i.e. establishing a pattern among exponential and digit questions), Finding the Common Term (i.e. being able to identify and cancel out or factor out a term that different expressions have in common), and Using the Template (i.e. being able to see and manipulate common algebraic templates). Each of these skills may be drawn upon once or twice per GMAT. Because they apply to a small handful of problems each, the Quest for 750 Workshops represent a value-add only for students who have a strong foundation across the test, and are looking to get an extra one or two problems correct to push their score a little bit higher. They are intended only as a supplement to the existing course curriculum for students who fit that profile. I hope that this is helpful. - Andrew |

are we able to review the 750 online course over and over again like the Online Labs and Class Recordings? Or can we only view it once on that specific day and time given?

Hi there -
Like each of the virtual classes, each quest is recorded. So, YES, a registrant can review the recording as often as desired - for three months after the workshop takes place. Best wishes, Kim Watkins |
