Hi,
I have taken GMAT twice before this. And after studying from various books, my verbal improvement is not satisfactory. I scored 500(Q47 V13) in first attempt and 580(Q48 v21) in 2nd.
I studied from Kaplan foundation grammar, verbal review, Manhattan SC. Even I have taken all 6 full length practise tests of Manhattan. I scored similar in these tests. Even for both the exams I have solved prep material.
I want to improve my scores. I need to work hard on verbal part. But I don’t know after solving above mentioned material, what other material I could use and what should I do? Please help. I am totally stuck.

You did a really great job of raising your score from the 1st to the 2nd test - congratulations on that. (I know you want to get even better, but I just want to acknowledge how far you've already come!)

If your score is not yet where you want it, then you are not yet done studying those materials that you've been using. The issue isn't doing new things - the issue is making sure that you're studying in an effective way so that you are learning what you need to learn. If you're not, then moving to new materials won't help.

The materials you mention are mostly grammar / SC materials. What about materials for CR and RC - what did you use there? ("OG" isn't a sufficient answer - the OG books don't tell you *how* to study for and answer these different kinds of questions. They just give you practice questions. They're very good practice questions - but they don't teach you how to get better.)

Given your starting score, you may want to try our Foundations of Verbal book first and then revisit our SC guide. You should also identify materials that will help you specifically with CR and RC. (We have books for those question types, too, as do all of the companies.)

Next, use the below article to analyze your most recent MGMAT CATs:
http://www.manhattangmat.com/blog/index ... ice-tests/

Then come back here and share your analysis with us. (Note: don't just share the raw data; tell us your analysis - what you think the data means. You need to be able to analyze yourself in order to improve!)
