Hi,

I finished the 8 strategy guides and the online homework banks. There are many formulas and other must know items for this test. Do you have a summary sheet that I can use as a final study guide? Thank you for your recommendations.

Hi Renee,

Thanks for your question! We currently don't have any study sheets created from the books. Looking through the books and creating your own study sheets is actually a great way to learn the content better. Also, in creating your own study sheets, you can be sure to include anything you know you are shaky on, and exclude anything you know you already know. That being said, if you would like some extra practice, I would suggest our flash cards as a good place to do so: http://www.manhattangmat.com/gmat-flashcards.cfm .

Ok, thanks. I have been taking my own notes to turn into a summary but it's still to much material. I'm a little stuck on how to take all the "must know" information and turn into something manageable. How do most people tackle this final piece of studying? I have also used the GMAT study cards posted online.

Thanks.
Renee

Hi Renee,

Apologies for the delayed response!

The process of creating a study sheet is actually a great way to study in and of itself. You mention that you have been taking notes from the reading. This is a great first step. The next step would be to take notes from your comprehensive notes on what you feel are the most essential ideas, and continue this process several times, editing your notes down to a final "tip sheet." In the end, the tip sheets are best when they are personalized to each individual's needs. For instance, one person might put on his tip sheet the area of a circle, while leaving off exponent rules because he feels he already knows them, while another might do just the opposite. In the end, each student will learn what he or she needs in order to do well on the exam.

Best,
