Hello, can anyone provide assitance?

For all numbers x such that x does not equal 1, if g(x) is defined by g(x) =x^2 + 2/x-1, then (1/g(2))(1/g(x))? The correct answer is x-1/6(x^2) + 2.

Thank you.

If g(x) = g(x) =x^2 + 2/x-1
Then 1/g(x) = x-1/x^2 + 2

g(2) = 2^2 + 2/2-1 = 4+2/1 = 6

1/g(2) = 1/6

Now (1/g(2))(1/g(x)) = (1/6)(x-1/x^2 + 2) =
x-1/6(x^2) + 2
