Question about Manhattan GMAT Online Course

I am very seriously considering the Manhattan GMAT online courses, but had some questions/concerns. I travel to Mexico on business quite frequently (I will be there from 13th - 29th this month), and the internet at the hotel is problematic at times. It is a highspeed connection, but I don't know how well it would support streaming of content.

Are all lectures, especially recorded ones, streamed over the internet? Or can you download recorded lectures to play them locally on the computer?

If not, what is the minimum speed needed to view either the live or recorded lectures?

Thanks!

Hi Claures,

Your question is an excellent one. Yes, all live and recorded lectures are streamed over the web, so being connected to the web is a mandatory element in your experience with the course. However, many of our international students connect via dial up, and the great thing is that if you were to get kicked off by the connection, you do have the option of going back to the class recording later.

I hope this answers your question, and if you need anything else, please let me know.

Best,

Kim,

Thanks for the reply; I was waiting on signing up until I heard something.

So essentially, I need a stable internet connection for at least 3 hours to get through a lecture.

I'll be curious to see how this course goes; I took my entire Master's degree online through the University of Southern California, so it will be interesting to compare how they conducted things and how MGMAT does it. :-)

Thanks!
