When is |4-x| equal to 4-x?
I still don't understand the answer, which is x is less than or equal to 4, and the explanation. Specifically how do you go from |4-x| to -(x-4)=4-x. And then how do you derive the answer from that?
Help!
Thanks!!!!

hi -- this is not the correct folder for this problem; the manhattangmat strategy guides have a folder of their own. if you still need assistance with this question, please post a new thread in that folder. thanks.
