I am horrible on essays. just horrible! Are essays really important on GMAT?
2nd question,if the essays are important on GMAT, any advice on scoring high on essays? recommendations?

The essays are not very important at all! Generally, the schools want you to score a 4 or better (out of 6). Check out the sample essays and guidelines in OG 11th edition and try to self-rate your essays. Can you get a 4 at least? If so, don't worry about the essays. If not, take a look at the guidelines and samples in that essay chapter and mimic them!
