Hi,

I am currently applying to evening MBA programs, and my question relates to how long a submitted resume should be. Currently, my resume is two full pages. I included any internships I had during college as well as work experience after graduating. Should I leave off some of my internships so as to shorten my resume. Any advice, templates, etc would be much appreciated.

A rule of thumb is 1 page for every 10 years of full-time experience.

Also, if you're more than a few years out of college, you can (and should) get rid of internships on your resume, as the real estate they take up on your resume can unwittingly trivialize your more substantive full-time experience.
