My stats:

GMAT
- haven't taken it yet, but I think 700 is within reach
General
- 33 years old at matriculation
- US Permanent Resident
Education
- BSc in Pharmacology (GPA 3.1 - last two years GPA~3.5)
- MSc in Chemistry (GPA 4.0)
- Both are from Canadian universities
Work Experience
- 6 years as a chemist for a large US Pharma company
- work involved taking drug candidates from discovery to production (some experience with making decisions based on business need)
- excellent performance evaluations (top 10%) with rapid promotion
Extracurricular
- during college practically nothing as I work almost full time to pay for school
- after college I've assisted other immigrants with the immigration process and orchestrated letter writing campaigns for immigration reform
- a number of hobbies including racquetball and hunting (a member of a number of Sportman's clubs)
Career Goals
- I'm looking to stay within the pharmaceutical industry but move into portfolio management or competitive intelligence
- I have practically no business education so I'm looking for a well-rounded management curriculum

What schools would be stretches for me (Tuck?)? Which would I stand a good chance of getting into? (I know the top three are out due to my age alone).

Thanks!!
Mike

In short (assuming your GMAT score is within range - i.e. absolute min is around 680, and ideally above 700):

Stretch: Tuck, Kellogg, Chicago, Columbia, MIT
Sweet spot: Duke, Darden, Michigan, Berkeley, NYU, Cornell, UCLA, Yale
Safety: Georgetown, USC, UNC, UT-Austin, Rochester, Emory, Purdue, Indiana, etc. -- and the Canadians (Ivey, Rotman)

Choose 1 stretch, 3-4 sweet spots, and 0-1 safeties -- as for specific schools, I assume you'll be doing more research to figure out which school is a better personal fit for you.
